Comparing 3 Varieties
Since I apparently don’t have a very developed pallet I started to think about what each coffee reminded me of and I ended up comparing them to beers. Not it taste, but more in how they feel and how they are to drink.

Brazil~For me this one had chocolate notes. It reminded me of a lighter beer, like a pale. It was very easy to drink and very light.
Rwanda~This was a very heavy coffee. It reminded me of a very dark and heavy beer. Maybe something like a Guinness. This one was a little more difficult to drink. It didn’t taste bad, you just have to take your time while drinking it.
Columbia~This coffee seemed to be in between the Brazil and Rwanda in terms of it’s “weight.” I would compare this one to something like a brown or red ale. It’s a bit heavy but still fairly easy to drink.
I hope that as I drink more and more coffee and write down my thoughts about each one that I’ll be able to develop more complex and comprehensive descriptions of each coffee I try.
